Sara Diedrich: I teach music out of my home, an 1890 victorian on which i am constantly making improvements. i love to knock down walls, remodel, refinish and paint again. i live with three siberian huskies- ani, yuri and miska. i love traditional irish music, german art songs, reading fiction and shopping at second-hand stores. during the 1990's i made a living performing in nightclubs and in musical theater, while studying classical music in college. i also worked for a singing telegram company, and have sung "happy birthday" in every suburb and surrounding area of the twin cities.
Steve Diedrich: I've played in a few bands over the years and performed solo in coffee shops prior to performing and recording with Sara in LivePoorDiedRich. My favorite band experience was playing in the band "Defcon" on the USS-Constellation CV-64 aircraft carrier, during my 4 year stint in the US Navy. This last year with Sara has been a lot of fun. We never performed together before, and it's great using music as an excuse to spend time with my sister.
