The Neubrandenburger band „longed for fusion“ was found in october 2005. All musicians already knew each other for a long time, but played in other bands before. After the first common test it became clear fast that this is the formation for which all musicians already waited since eternity. Music fascinates by a mixture of hard guitars full of pressure (like Rammstein, Black Label Society etc.) and tuneful keyboard sounds (like Nightwish, Type O Negative). Spicy with a mixture of soulful women's song and strong man's voice. After only just one year the combo “longed for Fusion” took up her debut album in the LSD recording studios Luebeck. Under the direction of the producer of Lasse Lammert the first work "Salvation" was published on 13.04.2007. In the past it added various appearances in arrangements and festivals, among other things „ mainstream hat fertig “, "Tunes of Death" and the "Bands Battle in 2006". A special highlight for " Longed for Fusion “ was the appearance as a Support of "Feuerengel" in December, 2007 in Schwerin. In August, 2008 swept „ Longed for fusion “ in the aforesaid recording studios back around to take up the "We'll never decay" EP as a forerunner of the 2-nd album planned in 2010. The mastering of the Conzept-EP appeared on 11.04.2009 took over no lower one than James Murphy (ex guitarist from Testament, Death, Obituary) nowadays as a producer in Florida (USA) active. “Longed for Fusion” plays a great mix of female-fronted-gothic-metal, parts of melodic metal and influence of doom metal. All songs are developed by every single one of them and arranged what lends a special mark to the whole. Thus are paired primarily a lot of fat of guitarriffs and hammering drums with shallow keyboard sounds. Jenny Herbold who provides by her different timbres in the voice for plentiful change takes over the main song. Guitarist Martin Schulz who forms a varied part to Jenny by his voice takes over the male parts. However, the biggest difference to the pure gothic-metal probably consists in the fact that “longed for fusion” place not on a permanent responsory between women's voice and man's voice, but in there way arrange the distribution of the voices quite own.
