Loser by Default's formation took place in May of 2006 by founding members Jim Nasty Mojica, Hector Delgadillo and Tony Rodriguez in Sante Fe Springs, California.It also introduced a young Andy Mojica on guitar to the band to help fill out their sound. A hand full of shows soon followed along with two demos in 2007. Next, a line up change saw the departure of Hector, but soon gave them Ricardo Luna on drums in 2008.

2008 brought not only a new drummer, but a new demo as well, with such songs as "For Me", "Twenty Two" and a re-recorded "Pushover". "The goal as Loser was to take our old sound, and reinvent ourselves as maturing musicians", says Tony of their 2008 change.
2009 brought tons and tons of shows, along with new friends. DC Fallout, Eken is Dead, The Skeeviez, RyLo and RyLo Productions, and countless others to name a few. New songs were written, and plans were made for a big 2010.
2010 sees tons of plans for Loser by Defaults future. A quick start with a Las Vegas show, and a Live Webcast showcase on Flashrock.com just to begin with. April 2010 sees the recording of our very first Full length album. Please join us in the adventure known as Loser by Default.
