Kristy Renee White (that's me) began taking interest in singing at the age of seven in my home town, Richmond, Virginia. Making home videos and harmonizing with my sister and cousins at family outings was always a joy. We would even put dance routines together, just for the fun of it. I started writing poetry in 1991, at the age of 13. Family, teachers, and schoolmates valued my poetry so much that they started asking me to write poems for them (love letters). Eventually, I started writing songs and using tape recorders (back in the day) to create harmonic melodies on my own. It was always admired by family. I would win tickets singing on the radio (got my many seconds of fame) and humbly accepted the compliments given to me. As time went on, God moved me further south. Now I'm in the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia, still awaiting to one day meet some of those who inspire me: Kenneth Edmonds (the legendary BabyFace), Usher Raymond, Chris Bridges (Luda), Monica, Keyshia Cole (just to name a few).... In 2009, on the 4th of July, I finally performed on stage with Soundlevel and the Showtime Band at the man-made beach in Clayton County, Georgia. That was my very first live performance without family around; however, my family showed much support from afar and my new Georgian family and associates showed much love. I look forward to performing again. Now that I've finally found trust-worthy musicians to work with at RexTrax Studios in Suwanee, Georgia, I have created several songs with the help of Sean Terrell, music producer; much love and support from David "DMellow" Holland, promoter; and supportive collaboration with Bryant "SpadeMusic" Little. I also thank Sheree McDavid of The Rite of Passage Foundation, Kevan Glover of No Question Entertainment, true family, and real friends for always encouraging me to make achievements using skills already possessed. I am beyond thankful. Songs I have written and sung so far include beats/music composed by Sean Terrell: "What You See," "Love on My Mind," and "Just Wanna Love You." There's more to come. I aim to grow and continue to work with positive people, continue growth in my writing and singing, and finally make time to further shine as Leos do. I encourage others to live their passion and purpose. Words and tones are powerful and amazing!!! Use that power wisely; not only for your own good, but also for the good of others.
