The System Drive is an original hard rock band from suburban Boston, featuring Mario Passi, Jaime Llanes and Mark Podgurski. The System Drive's current lineup was solidified on October 5th 2017, when former members of the Boston rock band, The Deaf Cats, Mario Passi and Mark Podgurski, introduced bassist, Jaime Llanes. The System Drive's style and tone became increasingly harder and more progressive than The Deaf Cats in a fairly short amount of time. In just one year, The System Drive was able to dial in a hard-hitting, high-energy sound that basically blows the roof off any venue they play. In November of 2018, the band began recording a full-length studio album at Woolly Mammoth Sound in Waltham, MA with producer David Westner. The album, titled "ENGAGE" was released in December of 2018.
Mario Passi a professional musician with over 30 years of experience in stage management, live sound and recording. He is the front-man, and founding member of the Boston hard rock band, The System Drive. He also offers live sound services for bands, pubs and smaller venues with no in-house PA under the name Mario Passi Sound.
