Mark Harris is from Pocatello, Idaho. He started piano lessons at the age of 8, and at the age of 20 found the love to compose. Being influenced by the likes of Mark Isham, Patrick O'Hearn and Yanni, his primary instrumentation includes piano, synthesizers and drums.

He has played in other bands, playing Andean, Mexican, African, Celtic and Caribbean music.
