The music you hear was all recorded within the last 4 yrs. Currently, Sol-Mill Records, INC. is working on getting my earlier recordings transfered to Cds and a release of original material will be released soon, stay tuned. I began my singing career with my family's band "Snobaer." Though at 5 yrs old, I was proud to be in the stage play "South Pacific" when the acting bug caught me and I did my first acting/solo vocal "Happy Talk!" My brothers Alan and Reese and me played the local scene of Pennsylvania for many years. Eventually, I moved to Nashville in the early 80's and worked at the world famous "Faron Youngs Celebrity Ballroom" as the lead female vocalist. There, I was approached by John Fisher and Ron Mann of "Fish-Mann" productions. Blessed to begin singing back up vocals for many well known country artist, helped take me to the top 20 Country Billboard charts with "I'm Only A Woman" which was co-written with Robert (Doc) Soliday in 1981. Low and behold, I sang the theme song for the movie "Blue Eyed Six' produced by Ron Howard. Yes, Opie! My biggest accomplishment was working with Eddie Rabbit on his US tour in 1982. In between finding my own place to settle, I worked with Orlando Florida bands "Shotgun", "R.C. Finnegan", and guest appeared at the Cheyanne Saloon on Church Street Station. In Baltimore I worked with, "Stillwater" and "4x4." I have a 5 piece band, The Housten Wells Band who come together for special events and tours, but I also do a single act and for those who have seen me perform live, are always touched by my soulful God given talent. (That's what I am told!) I've performed to numerous audiences everywhere from the US and abroad. I try to make my listerners feel as though they’re sitting in my livingroom. And on occassion, I will play a practical joke to soften the moment of a heartfelt love song. My goal is to give everything meaning in my life! I'm the proud mother of two Chihuahua's too...lol I have a great love for God. "Without him in your life, you have nothing." You can view my "STEAM ROLLER BLUES" video on www.youtube.com and on myspaceTV! Type in Marla Worley and enjoy....And by the way, thanks for stopping by and God Bless you always!
