Bio For the past ten years Matt has been performing his original music for enthusiastic crowds throughout the Northeast. He has played venues such as The House of Blues, The Avalon, The Paradise Rock Club, and NYC’s The Knitting Factory. During that time Matt has recorded four full-length albums and written countless unreleased tunes. As a songwriter his influences range from Sting to Pearl Jam to Pat Metheny. As a guitarist influences such as Freddie King, John Scofield, and Trey Anastasio can all be heard in his playing. The Band Matt Chase - Guitar, Vocals Sam Chase - Drums Tim Paul Weiner - Bass Tim Butterworth - Piano/Organ This foursome has been playing together for five years and it is clearly evident in live performances. They have the ability to play tightly written tunes and also take them to the land of improvisation. All four are graduates of Berklee College of Music.
