(Musically) An alternative and innovative Metal band based in the Pacific Northwest, often regarded as a "Bio-Mechanical killing machine" Formed in the fall of 2007 Mechanism is made up of 5 veterans of the Seattle/Tacoma music scene. Coming from bands such as Mojo Hand, Gypsy Rose, Primal Order, Before Christ and Groovebender, Mechanism has been fused together from diverse musical styles and backgrounds. Mechanism, in a short time has proven to be a modern and Innovative force with a style that is all their own, this band will continue to evolve into the future as a juggernaut of metal. The dark and technical Guitar prowess of Ryan Renfield and Tony DeLisio leaves no doubt that metal is alive and well.....and its name is Mechanism. Renfields vocals add an aggressive and eerily haunting symphony of sonic disorder while Rob Rotermund and Mike Parker hold down the bottom end with tight and mechanistic rhythms perfectly matched to the machine. If that wasn’t enough the band has added another dimension to the apparatus that is Mechanism in Justin Kerrihard. Kerrihard adds another aspect to the band with underlying tones and sampling capabilities that will assuredly keep Mechanism evolving into the future.
