Born as Damitrius Lee Paxton on October 1st, 1989 in the small town of Meadville, Pennsylvania, now better known as Meeche Packs, first started rapping at the age of twelve. Inspiration came from young rappers such as: Tupac, Biggie, Nas, and Jay-Z, just to name a few. He moved to Cleveland, Ohio at the age of five years old where he currently resides alone. Meeche Packs’ lyrics consist of hardships he has experienced in his life. He dropped out of high school in the 10th grade, and after spending two years in the streets, decided to get a G.E.D, and then attended Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, Ohio. While taking breaks from his studies, he continued to polish his craft as a lyricist. Meeche Packs completed his first album titled: “Lyfe After Da Hype (Revised)”, while in the group GF aka Good Fellaz, by the age of sixteen. This allowed him to do shows with nationally known artist such as: Gucci Mane, Yung Joc, Young Dro, Project Pat, Pimp C, Pitbull, and Bubba Sparxx. The group in which he helped develop won “Best New Group” at the 1st Annual Ohio Hip-Hop Awards, but he later realized he would do better as a solo artist and instantly went to work in the studio. Just weeks later Meeche dropped his first solo mixtape, “Talk of the Streets Vol. 1: Free Pat”. Meeche Packs believes music is an expression of self and says that is how he vacations. His style rapidly developed to make him the spokesman of the streets. If he didn’t personally experience a situation that he kicks in his lyrics, then someone very close to him has been through it. “If a person puts my CD in, I want them to be able to relate to it no matter what mood they’re in. This is why I make all types of songs.” Meeche Packs wants to use his fame to uplift his community. He believes that many people make it out of Cleveland never to return to give a helping hand. He vows to be the one who breaks that cycle and will always seek to help Cleveland be a better city. Meeche has completed his second solo mixtape titled: “Talk of the Streets vol. 2: Return of the Hustle”. He is currently working on a solo album. He believes Cleveland is given very little opportunities in the music industry; however he uses this as motivation to hopefully help him become the most relevant rap artist of all times. He is wise beyond his years and that is why he is such an accomplished artist at such an early age. Although Meeche is proud of his accomplishments thus far, he knows that through hard work the best is yet to come.
