I am honored you have chosen to find me. Ever since I can remember, music has slept in my bones, begging for its release into the universe. Once I finally decided to learn guitar, the songs began to flow. Every chord I learned was a key that helped me to unlock doors to rooms I'd long forgotten. My guitar became my lover, whispering to me to cradle it in the middle of the night, often demanding too much of me, always silently and seductively watching, asking for more. I learned to listen to it. I learned to paint with it. I watched in awe as many of my poems took on a life of their own as they jumped into my songs. I believe we are each bestowed with just one vial of medicine to share with this world; my music is my medicine. I hope that it takes you on journeys, hope it pulls you deeper to your core and then flings you into the sea. I hope it makes you cry and then gently reminds you to smile. I hope it reinforces the innate sensuality and innocence inside. Most importantly, I wish for my music to remind us all how interconnected we are, how loved we are, how surrounded by hope we are. Creation is my salve for the scratchy loneliness present in each of us, my way of reaching in to reach out.
