My music is electronica/dance, often pop, and dark dub, or trance but I explore the realms of hip hop too because often the lyrics I write are sometimes in the form of rapping or poetry rather than melodies. I vent my creativity as much as I can. I record, write, produce, mix & master everything myself. I produce all of the beats at my home studio, using Protools, a Keyboard, Magix and a few other cool programs. I edit all of the vocals and record myself. And if I can’t master them layer by layer, I send them off to get a musical makeover. I like doing these things myself, because it gives me more creative freedom. I keep a hectic schedule, and handle the business myself. I often get stressed, and overly worrisome. Which is why i want my music to be a therapy session full of joy & reassurance.i am an outlandish, loud, small, fearless, Jane of All Trades.I spend every waking moment doing something productive that involves entertaining and making music. I started out making mash up’s and remixes, inspired by Greg Gillis of Girl Talk. I love writing lyrics; I am inspired by life, art, culture and pain. Pain has been the most tragically beautiful inspiration, as well as Revenge. I adore 80’s beat, electro, and synthesizers. I’m also fascinated by Andy Warhol, the roaring 30’s, horror films, comic books, aliens, conspiracy theories, technology, and the future. I have a new album on iTunes & Amazon called “Planet Puff”.http://www.thetalentedmelodyjoy.com
