Tel Aviv, Israel
25 year-old Michal Reshef was born in Tel Aviv, Israel. The young musical phenomenon knew she could sing and remember music before she could even describe it.
At the age of five, Michal and her family moved to Paris, France. She learned Hebrew, French and insisted on taking piano lessons as well.
At the age of nine, Michal's family returned to Israel and she joined an all-singing, all-dancing group where she focused on her performance skills and mastered her singing.
During junior hight and all through high school, Michal took classical singing lessons, and also majored in Jazz music.
At 18, she joined the Israeli Defense Forces, and served in the Army Band for two years.
Upon her discharge, Michal auditioned for the 2nd season of the Israeli version of American Idol. She was selected to be a part of the top 18 young talents who entered the competition, and dropped at semi finals.
At 21, Michal flew to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music. She completed a 4 year degree program in Professional Music and focused on Music Business.
At 23, Michal took part in a tour in Germany, singing background vocals for a young Israeli singer.
Now, the feisty young artist, who's been writing and composing pop music since she was 16, is looking to sign a record deal in Europe.
Michal speaks perfect English, French and Hebrew, and writes her songs in English.
