He has been featured in CMT's Music City Madness competition, a competition for original unsigned artists. He was also featured on National TV on the CW Network's "Daily Buzz" show. In 2010 Easterday ventured to Nashville to record an EP album with four songs he wrote over the years. In late September 2010, "Santa Fe" was sent to over 2,000 radio stations. The single slowly but surely moved up the charts making a presence in the country music radio scene. "Santa Fe" Eventually made it to #98 on Music Row's Country Breakout Chart
