Michael A Puskas has a proven thirty year track record in the international entertainment industry and is the CEO and owner of, Ikonic Artists LLP, Sugar Filly Entertainment, DEAD Famous International Pty Ltd and Astral Records & Music Publishing. Astral Records & Music Publishing is the holding company for the new youth brand and label, Sugarfilly Records and the heavier end of the spectrum with DFI Ltd. In addition he was formerly published by Warner/Chappell in Scandinavia and MCS Music in the UK and is now published by ACM Records in New York. He is an established writer and composer with ACM Records and Cue Hits in New York. He is also proud of a strong and well established track record in music production for both artists and film and television scores. His most recent credits include music supervisor roles on BMG Medias indie slate of horror genre pictures, Kids Vs Aliens and Xpress Body Pieces. He has also worked as a music supervisor and licensing manager on Partisan Pictures latest feature, “A Perfect Life” which has just been released in theatres across the US and is entering the home DVD market in the next few months for the Christmas market. He was also commissioned by Taffy Entertainment / Mike Young Productions based in LA to write and produce the opening theme for the new US animated children's television series for Discovery Kids & Nickelodeon Worldwide entitled, "Growing up Creepie". Mike has an impressive tack record with licensing his music into major motion pictures and television networks across the US and Europe. These include without limitation, the OC, One Tree Hill, The Ghost Whisperer, My Generation, Without a Trace, Supernatural, Punkd, Gossip Girl, Desperate Housewives, Nikita, Alias, Room Raiders, Charm School, The Mole, Shall We Dance, Fantastic Four, Silence Becomes Her, Catwalk Catastrophe, Cathouse - The Series, Meet the Barkers, Making the Band, Dismissed etc latest NEWS Mike signs a new licensing deal with Writestuff Music in Michigan, and signs a very lucrative deal with Stephen Wrench of Musik & Film (MGM, Lionsgate, Paramount, Miramax) etc and will help administer major artist cataloges which include, Spencer Davis, Toto, Loverboy, Deep Purple, Larry Hoppen, John Cadfferty and the list goes on.. He has recently launched the NEW "Transference" project which has just signed to Out of the Box records / Sony Music Distribution and the first single , "Witching Stones" is scheduled for release to radio on the 15th of January 2013. The album entitled, "Skywatchers" will be released in April 2013 with a European tour to support the release. In addition Mike and his partner David Huxtable recently launched "The Music Farm" project which is a songwriting and production initiative that hearken back to the 1950's Brill Building days in New York and the great songwriter period for the following decade. Most of the songs featured here on Our Stage are a product of that initiative. The project has been signed to both, Write Stuff Music and Music of the Sea Licensing in Chicago and many of the tracks are currently sitting with the top music supervisors at FOX, NBC and Viacom. Mike and the Ikonic Records team have recently signed and presented to global radio the following quality artists. The Halls, Rone Kaos, Julia Orwell, Dream Vampires and Cursing Tomorrow. The label continues to grow in leaps and bounds as the music is further licensed via the "Music Samurai" advertising platform in Australia and soon to be made avaialble on a global scale.
