Mike Williams studied Composition and Viola at the Royal Academy of Music, where he developed an interest in electronic and experimental music. He was involved with the free jazz scene in London during the early 1980’s, his work through the London Musicians Collective featured on LMC2, May Day. Life then moved him away from music for three decades until he retreated to live on the Isle of Wight. Then, after the rare snows of 2012 that fell on the Wight the dormant circuits of his musical memory started to power up once more! Mike picked up his Viola and learnt to use his computer as a professional recording studio. Mike’s music today is eclectic and cross genre, allowing scope for his experimental tendencies under the sonic blanket of new tonality.
