LOTUS (Living Off The Usual) multi-talented Rap & Hip-Hop artist/ producer was born in the late 70’s originates from the Bronx.While attending school he took up a variety of courses which included:paralegal, business communication, marketing, accounting then continued toattending college where he was learning network administration while learninghow to design flyers, writing poetry & song writing, album cover, posters(created on photoshop/ powerpoint programs), copyright, business & timemanagement which he used to develop a plan to get his music out.
After meeting a lot of good people he had the opportunity towork with the producer/engineer of his first solo album, Frank Perry whoproduced most of the tracks for the Who’s BlackLotus album. While doing thisLOTUS had seen the bigger picture, and learned a lot of tips from fellowproducers working with him on how to create beats & work with musicproduction programs (Reasons, Protools, Acid, Soundforge) and began toproducing, engineer, and create his own beats, and creating his own catalog ofsongs & tracks to promote his talent, while copyrighting his songs, andlyrics then joining BMI as a songwriter. Then started to work on thedevelopment & creation of Minority M.O.B. Entertainment, he has also appeared on two films: History Of Rap(Documentary) playing the Younger Eddie Cheeba directed by: Krush GrooveProductions a Kurtis Blow company, and the film festival winner: The Unidentifer.
Also teamed upwith the genius ikedaproducer of A.I. Productions has created the offical LOTUSalbum: BlackWorld with 21 tracks mixed down and mostly produced ikedaproducer.
