She recently released a soft rock/ easy listening version of a song that was written by the 70s Scottish hard rock band NAZARETH called "Star" after obtaining the mechanical licensing from The Harry Fox Agency. Since her 2008 sales were quite impressive with reguards to her original music, we're very excited to see how sales will go for her first cover song release , which is her Nazareth cover of "Star." As the recipient of several music scholarships, Missi studied opera and vocal performance at Hiwassee College and the University of Tennessee.
