Mr King Music

Born and raised in the St. Louis metro area, Robert King has been involved in music since the age of 5. His mother Cassandra Henry taught him and his two siblings Cherlyne and Richard to sing and play instruments, which gave him a love and appreciation for music. Born and raised in the St. Louis metro area, Robert King has been involved in music since the age of 5. His mother Cassandra Henry taught him and his two siblings Cherlyne and Richard to sing and play instruments, which gave him a love and appreciation for music. They formed the family singing group called “The King’s Kids” and spent most of their childhood years singing throughout the local area developing quite a following. Being involved in every part of vocal music throughout school gave Robert a greater appreciation for all styles of music. He was in Choir, Show Choir, as well as Madrigal Choir. In 1998 Robert moved to Milwaukee, WI where he then joined the Wisconsin State Youth Choir. For several years WSYC Robert was able to travel to various pats of the country singing with the group. Now Robert is embarking on a solo R&B/Soul music career. With dreams to become a major player in this industry, Robert never forgets where he comes from. He does this totally for his love of music. Even if he never makes it big his love for music is the satisfaction of it all.
