MsLyric

Singer/songwriter MsLyric was born Kimberly Soileau in Lake Charles, Louisiana October 10th, 1984. She began as a young child with a passion for music idolizing Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Babyface, and Betty Wright. She grew up in a family oriented home with great values. The family later moved to Houston, Texas as her parents headed for greater opportunities. No matter where they moved to she always found musical talent around her: arranging groups and composing music.
During high school in 2001, she and her best friend auditioned for the first ever round of American Idol in Austin, Texas. Although she did not make it through she didn’t stop there. All of her free time was dedicated to pursuing a potential music career. Singing/writing her own lyrics, singing hooks for rappers, writing for others artist and performing at any open mic and talent showcase she was allowed.
MsLyric hooked up with Brushund Terrell, a local engineer and begin recording. Later they released her debut underground album titled IT’S SO SEXXXY. She continued to perfect her craft as a musician. With her creative lyrics and sound, MsLyric began building her team including a host of producers and promoters . As of early 2010, MsLyric and team are working on the release of her second album with the hit single titled “Break My Heart.”
