Born Shantale Person, she began writing at the young age of 8. Being brought up by a very poetic mother she learned to express her emotions through poetry and song. When she first began writing it was out of fun, a mere hobby. But as years continued rap became the outlook of her pain. It wasn't until her high school years that she picked up the name Ms Proper. Representing that name through swagga, fashion, and lyrics. Ms Proper always knew that she wanted to become known through her music and so she created the label So Proper Entertainment. Through they beginning stages of this journey there were a lot of ups and downs and alot of people who came and went. Now, standing strong with the So Proper ENT family they are ready to enter the industry strong with Ms Proper as the leader. She gives the people what they want to hear and brings them not only music they can dance to but music they can also relate to. With each song her listeners take away a small piece of her. Now residing in Petersburg, VA Ms Proper is always on the mic and always ready for her next challenge.
