Nearly every band these days claim to be different, unique and belong in a genre that cannot be classified in any one category. But what makes a band unique and different? More specifically what makes "MURDER CREEK" different? You could say it's the raw but velvety vocals of their veteran singer Bach Weslow with a long history with the Blues, or his uncanny guitar technique that comes from his classical training. You may also say that the rebel Jazz/Rock sounds from the teenage Tenor Sax Player Davidlee Klimchuk has something to do with it. Or maybe The polyrhythmic and sometimes heavy metal Drum sounds from younger brother and rocker Jacob Klimchuk. Either way, it is undeniable that "MURDER CREEK" has a definite and unmistakable sound that will get you to either tap your feet along with them or have your heart pounding while relating to the stories they tell. "MURDER CREEK" hails from the very small village of Akron, NY. The name was taken in honor of the historic Creek they all live by. The Nationally renowned Creek got it's name after a series of Tragic events that happened there from the early to late 1800's (See You Tube Video-Tragedy at Murder Creek). "MURDER CREEK" members are a very hard working group of musicians having played several hundred shows, and have been involved with organizing and playing for many Charity events to benefit many organizations from Katrina Victims to local Children's Hospital. We all hope you enjoy their Music and please drop a note anytime to let us know what you think!
