Quickly becoming known as the feel good music band to listen to, Naked Bacon band is on a quest to do just that; make their audience feel wonderful when they come to one of their fun-filled live shows and to offer their listeners ears a serving up of some of the bands “smokin” hot music that they can’t help but shake their booties to. Naked Bacon band describes their sound as eclectic with mixtures of jam and blues blended in. The Seattle based band is comprised of five members including Chris Henry on Drums, Michael Langston on Bass, Guitar, and Vocals, Gary Bruce on Lead Guitar and Vocals, David Alan on Mandolin, Bass, and Vocals, and Shawn Ross on Guitar and Bass. Naked Bacon came together out of a couple of the guys “jammin” out in an office after hours and realizing the music they made together could really speak to the hearts of people who want to hear music that makes them feel good whether it is through a specific message in a song or by just wanting to get up and dance all night long. The band has been performing together for 4 years and has combined musical influences consisting of Dave Matthews Band, Tool, Muddy Waters, John Prine, B.B. King, Jeff Beck, Lou Reed, Neil Young, Return To Forever, and Led Zeppelin just to name a few. Naked Bacon has something special cooking for their established fans and new fans they seek to gain with the recording of their first studio album that they expect to finish and release by mid 2010. The album will include some of the bands live show favorites the spicy “Big Daddy” and warm-positive feeling “Seemed like a dream” which received the following recent review by Marc Tachell of Everettrock.com. “Every now and then I like to comment on a band or event. This comment is for the band “Naked Bacon”. This band with the funny name will thoroughly entertain you regardless of age or musical preferences. They claim to be a cross between Roots Music, Blues, and Jam Band. They definitely have a sound all their own and once you hear them, their songs stay in your head for a long time. If you are a bar owner and need a band, I would highly recommend the band Naked Bacon. My favorite song “Seemed like a Dream” I listen to often”. At a time when the economy and events in the world have people bummed out Naked Bacon wants to take your mind off those things even if only for an hour so you can listen to music that makes you feel good about yourself, laugh, and leave their concert with a positive feeling of hope. Naked Bacon has performed at various venues through the Seattle area from Everett to Tacoma including The Mix, Slim’s Last Chance, Columbia City Theater, Bender’s in Renton, The Shanty in Lake City, Eddie’s Trackside in Monroe, Flights Pub in Everett, One Eyed Jack’s Roadhouse in Lynnwood, The Robert Daniels Gallery in Tacoma, and more.
