Born in the small town of Bryan, Tx, at the early age of 11 Nisha knew that she wanted to sing. With being raised around music with her dad being in a band as a drummer and a singer; she decided she wanted to follow in his foot-steps and become a singer. In the early 90's Nisha started a group called Essential Shades that consited of four girls that begin to turn heads of some radio dj's, and some bigger names in the industry. In the early 90's Nisha started a group called Essential Shades that consited of four girls that begin to turn heads of some radio dj's, and some bigger names in the industry. Opening for entertainers such as Ludacris,Destiny's Child, Link and even having the chance to perform on the worlds famous "Its Showtime At the Apollo". The group was riding on cloud nine, but slowly started drifting in different directions that eventually lead to a break up, and that lead Nisha to push herself harder to create a solo album that expressed her musical abilities and talents, that showed off her voice that was now at a different place. Now more grown up Nisha is working on her first solo album called "Open Heart Surgery" that is sure to catch the ear of all music lovers. The songs on the album consist of the good and the bad of relationships from a special someone to a friend; so it's sure to relate to everyone,and anyone who has dealt with the emotional rollercoaster of feelings,and relationships
