Norma Jean has been performing all over Oregon since the age of thirteen. At twenty five, she’s a veteran to the stage and studio. At the age of Fifteen, Norma Jean traveled to Nashville Tennessee to record 2 songs on the Tamara label, “What I’ve always wanted”, and “How far can your memory go”. The songs were included on a compilation album and sent out to radio across the country. The next few years were filled with singing at fairs, benefits, clubs & honky-tonks, and two more trips to Nashville to check out the music seen and learn more about the Country Music business. While in Oregon, Norma Jean has been part of several different bands including playing drums in a rock-a-billy band called “Jet Black”, fronting country band “The Powder River Raiders”, and sharing the stage with “Surefire Country”, a classic rock band “Exit Only”, and country band “Latigo”. When she isn’t sharing the stage with other musicians, Norma Jean can be found entertaining solo with only background music. Norma Jean’s current project involves recording her first album of all original music. She will include songs by Nashville songwriter and producer Lonnie Ratliff and other known writers, as well as a couple she penned herself. The future looks bright for this energetic young star.
