NoTiQ, born, Gabriel Rudd in Albany Georgia February 13, 1986, was raised in Marietta, Ga. NoTiQ showed an affinity for music and writing very early. Playing instruments like the drums, trumpet, French horn, and tuba in school and in church showed his true passion for musical creativity. Also and avid reader and writer, NoTiQ would compose stories, poems, and songs constantly. NoTiQ is the founder and CEO of The iLliterate Papers, specializing in media production and a current candidate for a B.A. in Journalism at Kennesaw State University. Using the moniker NoTiQ, he has released a song titled “Woozy” in anticipation of his upcoming promotional album, titled The iLliterate Papers. In addition to releasing his own music, Rudd also writes songs for other artists and producers. NoTiQ has performed at venues across the Southeast while receiving favorable music review on online publications Ourstage.com, HotNewHipHop.com and TheHipHopPodcast.com. In 2006 after leaving Mercer, NoTiQ released a mixtape titled, The Audacity of Hip-Hop. This mixtape inspired by Obama’s “Audacity of Hope” showed NoTiQ’s attention to culturally relevant event’s as well as personal trials within his own life over original and industry beats. The project was well received by the college community, online community, and various youths alike. NoTiQ also begin performing more and more across Atlanta, becoming a regular at open mics and a few notable showcases. Notable projects include a syndicated iTunes video podcast titled “Lust for The Limelight” which attracted hundreds of viewers every episode. An official remix of Karina’s debut 16@ War, garnering critical acclaim and over 45,000 views on YouTube. Pleasure P unofficial Remix of “I Did You Wrong” with over 120,000 views on YouTube. There are also many other songs and videos such as Ourstage.com’s sponsored “Marietta/Tokyo” NoTiQ remained busy in 2008 by releasing The Prelude EP for digital download via his websites, blogs, and hip hop sites such as Thehiphoppodcast.com “The Prelude EP” is a collection of songs NoTiQ released and performs in anticipation for his recently release free album, The iLliterate Papers released in February 2012. NoTiQ's single, What You Doin' is now available for download at NoTiQ.com
