Bj aka Nova- I was Born February 28 1991 in Buffalo, NY. There I lived until I was 8 and I moved to Atlanta, GA where I have been living the past 10 years. Taking in how different the music is in the North and South I am able to mix my knowledge with the best of both. I previously wrote a couple verses when I was younger but in July 2009 as a result of some self evaluation and realization I began writing and recording and decided to try to make a career out of what I do. I listen to different genres of Music such as Rap/Hip-Hop/R&B/Rock/Pop/Alternative/AlternRock..etc. I love every aspect of Music from the joy of listening to Music and the art of making Music. Big Influences on my Music are Drake, Lil' Wayne, and Kanye West mainly. I understand that Hip-Hop is not where it needs to be especially coming from Atlanta where I am surrounded by artists who are not signed because of their flow or the content of their lyrics but for other reasons I am still not completely sure of yet. My purpose of me rapping is being that coming from Atlanta where there already are very few lyric based artists, I would like to prove that lyrical rappers do exist in the south and I would like to help preserve the foundation of Hip-Hop and remind its fans what it actually is.
