Hello, my name is Nor'Von Thomas. I'm an aspiring R&B/Neo-Soul artist from San Diego, CA. While in San Diego I learned alot of very valuable lessons and disciplines that have without a doubt helped shape the musician and artist that I am today. At the age of 16 I moved to Atlanta, GA. Since moving to Atlanta I have performed with various choirs and small ensembles. In high school I also won State Literary Championships and State Runner-Up in Soloist and Quartet competitions. I've been doing my own music seriously for about 8-9 years. I write my own lyrics, compose my own beats, record and mix all of my vocals myself. I consider myself to be a true independent artist because I never had the option of having someone write any songs for me, make any of my beats and/or record my vocals for me. Because of the lack of resources I took it upon myself to provide everything that I would need in order to make my music over time. I still feel like I have ALOT to learn and I'm willing to learn new tricks of the trade everyday. I currently have a small, home studio that I use to make my music, its not much but I make it work. All of my music is REAL to me, I speak of personal experiences and emotions my songs. I try to mix alot of regional styles within my music and at the end of the day I really just want people to listen to it and see if they like it. This is my passion and I hope you all enjoy!!!!
