The trio group was founded in 1998 after first meeting in Terrace Apartments in Oklahoma City, The trio currently still resides in Oklahoma City where they tediously do everything to achieve their goals, doing everything in their power to keep focus on completing the self produced, recorded & soon to be self marketed Album Dub ed Under America, Which to me sounded as if the title had some political or political rebellious undertones which would be understandable giving the nations current economical crisis, I was schooled (Corrected/Educated on a topic) by DJ Kuul during an instant messenger interview last weekend that the origin of the Album title is in fact driven by their Physical location being in the state of Oklahoma, Which is often viewed upon as slow, by the appearance or lack there off outside influence's by Media, Entertainment & Technology. The lack of outside influences in this case has been a blessing, for it allows the trio to concentrate on the music they want to produce, Which I must say is far better then most of the Hip Hop Music dominating the mainstream charts right now. By Middle School the Trio started rapping to old Cash Money beats, which suddenly turn this passion into a career path of struggles, trials & tribulations.10 years have passed since the journey for C.M.D began & they are still plowing forward against the personal & business obstacles that have stood before them with three singles from their upcoming self produced album completed & tremendous amount of devotion these fellas are vastly approaching their goals, All that can be said about C,M.D is these 3 men have the gift,passion,drive & motivation needed to become successful in the music business.. Beyond the refreshing sounds they are bringing to The Rap scene there is an admiring refreshing humble characteristic fueling their hard work & determination, they are locked in to a passion to provide a better quality of Hip-hop music then whats currently available in the mainstream, a top level of priority for the trio that over shadows their conception of money,bling, & cars that has crept its way in to complete consumption in modern mainstream Hip-Hop over the last decade, Any profitable out come from their musical endeavours is simple a blessing according to DJ Kuul who stated simply & modestly enough as "money is a reward".
