On Volcano

On Volcano is a four-piece indie group from Tampere, Finland. They started as a post-rock trio in 2004. In March of 2005 Minna joined the band as a lead singer. On Volcano blend powerful guitars with driving rhythms and delicate vocals to form soundscapes of beautiful melodies, embracing modern indie-pop with shoegaze and post-rock. Japanese indie label, Quince Records distributes the EP in Japan. On Volcano is unsigned but has been building a reputation through gigs and music downloads on the internet.
