Founded in Columbus Ohio by Midwest alien Matt Starr, with the intention of wanting to form a band that gives its fans a first class rock n roll experience with music that makes you want to break all the rules. Matt then found a partner in crime Joe Estes (From Cleveland OH) on the bass, and kid wonder Jake Klimchuk (From Buffalo NY) on drums and the power trio Roxy Mae was born. Roxy Mae pulls influence from icons of rock, mixing the driving sounds of the Cult and AC/DC along with the care free nothing but a good time vibes of bands such as Poison and Faster Pussycat, along with the spirit of punk rock, and crafted into the unique Roxy Mae sound. Our debut single "Love Is Dangerous" will be available this December!
