Opium Toad

Opium Toad are a band based in Radcliffe-on-Trent, a large village just outside Nottingham. When exactly we formed is up for debate, sometime in 2006 is a decent estimate but we only really took on the name Opium Toad in early 2008. What we play could generally be described as Heavy Metal but we are big fans of other genres which we like to incorporate into our music. Usually when a band says something like that they mean that they are gonna just play some pop punk stuff which they like to pass off as rock, rest assured that is not what we do. All we can really say at this point is that we play what we come up with that sounds good and all come from a background of mixed rock and metal which will show as influencing our music as we write and record more songs.
