Made the progression to spinning vinyls after moving to Toronto, Ontario CANADA in 1999. Now-a-days Optikal Illuzion has been composing more Jungle/Drum n Bass than anything else, and even starting to venture into Industrial & EBM. I'm not in this for the fame or the money. I'm in this for the love of the music, the scene, and just watching people dancing and enjoying the beats. After all... Isn't that what it started out as?!?! For the people?!?! I thought you'd agree... I started composing my own stuff back in late 1999 early 2000, after some inspiration from my sister's ex-boyfriend, and picking up my own copy of a magazine (Revolution) I read at his studio. Music has always played an intricate part in my life, whether it be just chilling out, playing my guitar, banging away on a friend's drum kit, listening to the radio 24/7, going to clubs and concerts, or setting the mood for those late night house parties. Music HAS always been and WILL always remain a driving force in my life.
