Other Heads was born at the University of Connecticut in 2007; however, individual seeds of thought can be traced back to their elementary days in the quiet outskirts of New Haven, CT - days when bands like Nirvana, Alice in Chains, and Metallica reigned supreme... After jam sessions with several drummers and acoustic gigs around UConn, the band, consisting of Vin Lazzaro (vocals), and Yiannis Haralabakis (bass), was able to recruit longtime friend Brian McGovern to cement their rhythm section. The foursome quickly hit the studio to record their demo; comprising of four tracks ranging from quiet and pensive to violent and aggressive. They also built an arsenal of cover songs to supplement their originals, ranging from classic rock, to rap, to metal. Other Heads' unique brand of heavy rock can be heard in the New Haven area and around UConn.
