The band OUT OF CHANNEL as the line-up has been started November 2007 but the first line-up has been formed in 2003 in Tyumen, Russian Federation. The band OUT OF CHANNEL as the line-up has been started November 2007 but the first line-up has been formed in 2003 in Tyumen, Russian Federation. At that time under the provocative title of Gangrena various thrash metal ideas of Kro has been realized. That stuff became a “demo 2004” soon. It was raw self-producted recording that fixed the early band’s experiments influenced by thrash, hardcore, progressive death and punk. Fall 2007 the core of the band moved to St. Petersburg to sign a contract with DF Music Organization. Fall 2008 the first LP album “Prose” got in stores titled as OUT OF CHANNEL. The CD sounds like progressive metalcore at the base of thrash metal school. The lead metal portal of CIS www.froster.org gave the following valuation to pre-release promo for “Prose”: (+) The promo presented just three songs but if every song on the upcoming album will be the same plane Gangrena will become undoubtedly breakthrough of the year not just in CIS but in the whole Eastern Europe too. Anyway the material shows fight in brilliancy and power to the lead European bands. Aggressive, technical but also very melodic music <…> It’s very pleasant that the band is out of strong influences of any foreign analogues and it’s productive searching for an own face. 9/10 (+) Through the time of existence OUT OF CHANNEL took part in plenty of gigs on stage with The Dillinger Escape Plan (usa), Tiamat (swe), Holy Moses (ger), Dead Infeation (pol), Deepred (fin), Sickbag (fra), Moonfog (slo), Mental Demaise (ukr), Pictures Inside Me (ukr), Perimeter, My Autumn, Horizon 8, Sammet, Catharsis, Amatory and others. Nowadays the band work on the new stuff and get ready for the first clip.
