About Pak man yola
As one of the lowest epicenters of Southern Hip Hop, San Antonio has never had a thriving underground music scene capable of producing major platinum superstars Like other texas cities Like Houston's Mike Jones, Paul wall and chamillionaire.Well Sa Town has finnaly found somebody tu put them on dey back n keep it 200 for the people who aint 100. Next to look out for is Pak Man, Sa-Town’s current rap kingping. Pak Man calls himself a “rapper repping reality” and it’s his “real-life storytelling”, skill and finesse on the microphone that have elevated him to become one of the South’s most respected young rappers.
Born Garrett Roberts , Pak mane grew up in the infamous Landover Apartments in a Landover, maryland neighborhood. His childhood was typical his mother was in the military so most of the time she wasnt home so Pak man had to stay by his self or with his uncle who was a dealer, or his grand mother who stayed in detroit michigan. “Being from the hood, things like hustling will come your way,” says Pak mane. “Everybody in my family hustled in some kind of way.” Ironically, hustling is what ultimately led Pak man to a promising rap career."Man i wuz in da street so deep man i felt like if theese niggas who aint 100 making it then a nigga who keep 200 should go str8 to the top, really when i got shot i felt like dat was the only thing left for me cause all i ever knew was sports, hustling and rap" says pak .
Pak Man followed in the footsteps of Texas rap legends Pimp c & Bun b , and other street rappers like Yo gotti ,Trick Daddy , and Young jeezy – all of whom he lists as influences – and released his own underground mixtape, Raps marchmadness, by placing it on consignment in mom's brb'q resteraunt as well as hustling it out of his trunk. The tape sold like hot cakes on the street and made Pak man the hottest rapper on the come-up in san antonio
If the past Four years Pak had fell away from his love for music, because he got so caught back in the streets but after he got shot he started over and moved to houston to attend texas southern university even though school was never his thing he figured since he put his mother threw so much hell the least he could do is finish school for his mother , but he start to see the college thing wasnt for me and he hopped rite back in the streets, and decided he would give the rap thing one more chance and now he has one of the most unticipated mixtapes droppin this august called "Hood shoppin " its all for sale edition hosted by DJ Plat with hit single sellin Bagz!!
