Hello my name is Chris Redding and I am a member of a group called THE PANGEA KIDZ. Our Group name “The Pangea Kidz” represents all different genres of Music coming together just like when the earth was one whole continent 200 million years ago. The Pangea Kidz would like to bring another type of “swag” to the music industry. We feel “Jungle On My Neck” would be that song, to twerk the industry. We have recently gotten a couple of closed doors simply because this song is different. If you listen to the words you can simply hear the different struggles not just of the people in our group but of the different people around the world. This song was written after a trip to the Goodwill store and finding this Afrocentric Jungle style chain. I loved the fact it was different. Daring almost. Many of my peers laughed at it in the beginning but, soon after they saw the effect the chain had on our group and everyone was asking where they can get their own from! This necklace showed us that if you just be yourself pretty soon everyone will either love it or learn to except it! I guess you can incorporate its message with the situation that is happening over in Sierra Leone with the blood diamond trade. Everyone wants to be “fly” with diamonds in America so we figured we'll just be different and go back to the roots. (Almost like a new age public enemy)
