Formerly known as A Struggle Within, Pastor has been in the process of re-doing our entire image. Since the beginning in 2001 as young ambitious high school kids jamming old Metallica and Pantera albums, we have been playing every dink hole shit dive around from basements to bars, VFWs to Theaters and have shared the stage with bands like Misfits, Napalm Death, Obituary, The Black Dahlia Murder and many more. In 2003 after the release of our first EP under the band name Unknown, we toured regionally for the first time with the help and promotion of Dirty White Boy Productions. In 2004 we went through a lineup change and prepared for a whole new sound. By the end of 2005 we had recorded our first demo as ASW at Audible Images in Pittsburgh with Grammy Award Winning producer Jay Dudt. In 2006 we put out our second full length and began playing consecutively in Pa, WV, OH, VA, NY, and MD. In 2007 we set out on our first DIY tour which consisted of 29 dates throughout the east coast. On that stint we toured in TX with Belay My Last (Mediaskare) and With Blood Comes Cleansing (Victory) for 5 dates and was part of the Captain America is Dead! tour, featuring upcoming bands at the time Elysia and Knights of the Abyss (Ferret) in 4 separate states. At the end of 2007 through 2008 we toured regionally often and played at some of the best venues along the east coast such as Mr. Smalls, Jaxx, Peabody’s, The Electric Factory, Sonar, I-Rock, etc. gaining us a lot more exposure and earning us radio play in 7 states and several offers for opening slots on national shows. We’ve been featured in Skratch magazine, dozens of compilations, and in local and state newspapers throughout WV and PA. Since the end of 2008, we have been taking a break to focus on taking our band to the next level. With upgrading equipment and aiming for a more professional look and sound; by the end of the year we will be back in full force ready to prove we are not a band to fuck with. We take this shit seriously!
