About Paul Jeffery

Brighouse, United Kingdom

I live in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, which is near Bradford (where I was born), in England. I play the keyboard and sing and I write/co-write songs. I play broadly three types of gigs: 1) Solo gigs concentrating mainly on my original material. (Showcases, Acoustic, Open Mics etc..) 2) Solo gigs playing covers and original material. 3) Gigs with my band 'The Paul Jeffery Band'. I've played over 1000 gigs and have the mental scars to prove it. I've released 3 albums which are all available via cdbaby and iTunes.

HISTORY: July 2005: Charity single 'More Than The Need' (written by Paul Jeffery, Cath Walls and others) released nationally, reaching 19 in the UK independent charts. Jan 2006: Releases single 'Cold Cold Day' produced by Ian Catt of St Etienne fame. (I'm name-dropping now!) May 2006: First solo album 'Lost In Love Town' released. July 2007: Second solo album 'Seven Shades Of Grey' released, produced by Jon Strong. Jan 2009: 'Catharsis' by 'Paradise Street' (my female songs project) is released. Oct 2009: Third solo album 'Dare To Be Different' released.
