Today’s Country Music scene is boiling over with talented musicians. All trying to get your attention. All trying to make their way through the maze of craziness that is our modern music industry. One thing is certain; to get noticed you must have a clear message that everyday people can relate to. Enter Paul Street. Following the success of his first CD “Streetwise”, Mr. Street breaks down the walls with his new offering “Temporary Sanity”. From the opening line of the lead track “You Can’t Go Back”, “It was summertime, feelin’ so alive, had big dreams for a small town boy.” The tone is set for a wandering through the chambers of life’s detours and U turns. “For this CD, I wanted to make the best recordings of the best songs we had written over the last 3 years.” And to get the job done right, Street relied on his go to band mates that graced the first CD as well as a few “special” guests. “Having my daughter sing a duet with me on the CD is one of the proudest moments of my life. Now I know how my Dad must’ve felt the first time I came on stage with him to perform.” Paul Street is no stranger to the stage. Over 30 years of playing live to audiences of 50 or 1500 people, he is surely “home” when he gets behind a microphone. “Singing to someone and seeing their face light up when they really get your message is one of the greatest feelings an entertainer can get.” One listen to “Temporary Sanity” and you’ll feel like you’ve been on an emotional roller coaster that lands you safely on the other side of conflict and confusion. Paul Street; proof that music can still make you think.
