PresshA aka PR was Born in Detroit MI, March 1, 1983 and raised in Houston, TX. His parents instilled in him the belief that he could achieve greatness in whatever he focussed on. From age 10 to age 22, his focus was clearly on basketball and becoming the best player he could be. Many goals were set, met, and even exceeded when considering his hoops career; from his exceptional performance on the "And 1" tour, to his many places amongst the best in Wichita State's record books. Though all this time dribbling the basketball brought much success and gratification, music always had a very special place in his heart...and for good reason. So in between all of the practicing and training throughout the years when basketball was his hearts main attraction, PR still found time to exercise his musical ability. Singing...Rapping...Creatively placing his ideas on tracks in melodies, harmonys, and ideas with his unique style. It was not long before he found that his compatibility with his 2nd love, music, actually had surpassed his former passion. After playing professionally overseas for a short amount of time in China and Austria, PR would lose his beloved mother, JoAnne, in a tragic car accident which included his father, mother, and 2 younger siblings. Losing the biggest inspiration, his mother, caused PR to lean more heavily on his music to cope with the harsh realities of life. It also made him even more determined and driven to succeed. Thats when it all changed... After dropping his first solo underground cd in 2007, "Wake up Call", he recieved much praise and acknowledgement from his underground fanbase...although his fanbase was not much, and so much time had been invested in sports, PR knew that being a well respected artist was well within his reach. Fans asked for more as he continued to improve. THEN IT HAPPENED... Peep Game! Inevitably hooking up with one of, if not the best underground talents to rome the Houston streets by the name of ZO, they took no time to produce their magic as everyone else took no time to realize the magic being produced. PR aspires to be one of the heavyweights in the music game, and believes that nothing can stop him, but him.
