The international seven-member band – all long-time musicians – was founded in 2004 by Pancho Ballweg (bass), Carsten Ullrich (trumpet) and Heiko Popp (drums), later came the Portuguese singer and guitarist Gabriel Correia and the saxophonist Eva Buck. In 2012 the trombonist Ludwig Hiller did complete the brass section. In 2013 the great cuban singer Gelsie Gutierrez Delgado from Havanna completed the band.
