First gig with some of my family and friends on June 14, 1968 in the Omega Grange Hall, southern Ohio. Was playing lead then, until a few years later when a fellow named Mark Goodman (now w/Teazer) came along. To survive, I switched to bass - I was no match for his smooth lead rifts. Played in about a dozen bands until Oct 1979. Now I play for fun, once again, but mostly in central Illinois - Terry Husted. Some of my favorite bandmates: Stan Bates, Bobby Stanley, Danny Stanley, Terry Diehl, Mark Goodman, Dick Steele (I owe a lot to him), Rick Salyers (RIP), and many others from 1970's in Ohio; Jim Forman, Tom Landin, Andy, Nick, Bill, Mark, and Carolyne of Nick's Basement; Hugh, Doug, Ray, and Jim. Enjoy all music - nope Rap ain't music - as Ray Charles once put it - I never learned nothin from Rap. Especially like Classic Rock, Blues, Bluegrass, Folk, and some Metal. Play bass guitar, guitar; some banjo, mandolin, keyboards, and enjoy adding three-part harmonies. Looking forward to more Teazer stuff; enjoy local bands Hindsight and The Still. I really enjoy going back to southern Ohio to hear Stan's band, Don, Mike, Deke, and Rick playing - one tight group!
