A true performer at heart, Prez has always believed in high quality music, which has always been a major priority in his life. His ability to relate to his listeners portrays him as one of the few MC's that are still "keeping it real". His lyrics are intricate, thought provoking, and tasteful, and he gives his fans a better understanding of the life he used to live and the life he lives now. His lyrics include topics that are significant to the general "hood" public, often rapping about subjects such as sex, drugs, lies, deceit, drama, streets, etc. Prez expresses himself through his lyrics, using it as a form of therapy, which helps keep him sane in this fast paced music world. This lyrical mastermind was born Marcus Paul Mohamed in Romford, London England, where he lived for 12 years. Prez later moved to Goldsboro, North Carolina where he was primarily raised. In the year 2000 Prez returned back to Europe, where he spent 5 years living in Italy working on perfecting his trade. His love of music became evident at the early age of eight but by the time he was seventeen Prez had already started his musical career, influencing the masses with his writing.Prez has worked with many independent labels in the past, not only collaborating musically but contributing his knowledge and expertise to the growth of these companies. His first national Italian television appearance on Italian Uno immediately set himself apart from the rest of the Exel Recordz performers. Struggling with the lack of professionalism Prez decided to leave and consequently Exel Recordz failed without him. That's when the ambitious rapper along side Steve Newland created the company New Age Entertainment. At the young age of twenty three, Prez became the COO, Vice President of Marketing, Business & Promotions of New Age Entertainment. Along with CEO Steve Newland, the two long time friends immediately began traveling the world leaving their incomparable mark everywhere they went. Countries such as Italy, Poland, Japan, Canada, Spain, France, Slovenia, Austria, Amsterdam, Switzerland, Portugal, Karachi and England have become hot spots for the Prez and New Age Entertainment. Having seen the whole world before the age of 18 Prez attained priceless knowledge as well as experience. His adventures have given him a better understanding of world commerce and have pushed him to excel way beyond common success. Working with artists such as Jim Jones, Young Joc, The Game, Lloyd, etc. and djs New Jerzey Devil and Chris Styles, has made Prez a "go getter" in the music world. The smash single "350 Bars" has set Prez apart from the average MC, and quickly disqualified many doubters and haters. The self supportive youth first jumped on the scene with his first single "Feel the Pain" feat New Age's other Premiere Artist, Ox. And now with his hot new single "Get em all", the Prez doesn't show any signs of slowing down. For the last eight years this artist has performed for over 200,000 fans. Between the years of 2001-2007, Prez has toured in cities such as Venice, Verona, Milan, Vienna, Ljubljana and many more around Europe. Working with other prestigious labels such as Bad Boy, Universal, Geffin, Warner Brothers, G-Unit Interscope, Black Wall Street and many more, show the extent of New Age Entertainment musical resume. Although all the ladies around the world have been "dropping like it's HOT" for Prez he never takes the focus off the game. Now hosting his own Radio station, Phat Bass 97.3 FM in Italy, he continues to be involved with his European listeners. With well over 250,000 spins, mix tapes and DVD's sold, Prez is known as a respected musician around the world. Although Prez is a full time business man and he spends a large amount of time in the studio, he always finds time to give back to the community, both in the US and Europe. He has been involved with various charities such as JDA, Walk of Life, and the Angels in Care Childrens Foundation. His goal has always been to help and support less fortunate children; he focuses on raising money in order to give the children the tools needed to be successful in life. Always looking to expand his charitable work, Prez will be adding to the amount of charities he currently donates to by introducing new foundations to his list in the future. Always remembering where he came from, he feels it's important to give back to others that are less fortunate. Living by the motto "Work like a slave, eat like a king" Prez has always believed that hard work is the best recipe for success. His dedication to his musical career has opened doors that many musicians often find closed. His continued achievements can only be attributed to his long time devotion to his music. In the future Prez plans to release a solo album in December of 2008. He hopes that his fans will love his music as much as he does and appreciates the hard work that went into making the album.
