Profecys Child’s mother and grandmother will always be his greatest inspirations! Profecys Child, born Terrence Anthony Monie June, 26 1984, to a poetic Afro-American mother, Nesie Monie, and Afro-Haitian Dominican father, Jimmy Leon, started out in child print ads and†local commercials. Profecys Child began writing, rapping, and performing at age of 12. He attended Cleveland School for the Performing Arts in Dayton, Ohio.† Moving to Orlando, Florida soon after completing one year of college, he pursued his passion for music & film. Profecys Child, a.k.a Tai-Monie, was known for being the "Hook-man" in the group, Judishal, a Hip-hop commercial street rap group. After the break up of the band, he perfected a sound that was unique, powerful and influential--- a sound that became the Feenex, "The King of Grown and Sexy Hip-hop and R&B". †After moving to Atlanta, he wrote and recorded a few songs.†Antwann Frost, a producer out of Dayton, Ohio came to Atlanta to record with Tai in the studio. They arranged the backgrounds and completed his first solo song of the project. So impressed by the finished product Antwann and Tai recorded 13 songs in two weeks. Other friends heard the finished product and were equally impressed.†In the midst of recording, Tai engaged these friends Rahsaan Price, and Danni McGhee now his publicist.† And this is how M.I.T. (Millionaires In Training) Productions was formed. †With the combination of the rhythms and grooves of Antwann Frost and the R&B, Pop, Hip Hop and Rock vocals, songwriting and arrangement by Tai Monie, a match was created--- unparalleled in the music industry. Thus the rise of a rock-star, R&B sensation, Profecys Child.† Profecys Child has been called a reincarnated golden-child from the hood with an undeniable musical talent. Profecys Child's life struggles and experiences provide the material for the unique expression and engaging style that resonates throughout his music. Profecys Child's feels his most rewarding performance was The 5th Annual Black Women’s Think Tank where the audience gave him a standing ovation.
