Artist Bio: Nathan Bostick Nathan Bostick is an Artist that is more varied than even his seemingly endless list of musical tastes, his original pieces which he has been nurturing since the mid-90s, Always show a glimpse of whatever he is currently going through, from lyrical content to overall feel, when you wear your heart on your sleeve it tends to show in Your Art. Always enjoying bands like Depeche Mode and Sneaker Pimps Nathan soon branched out to more electronic sounds and after finding the dance floors of the Industrial / EDM scenes;  started mixing records in Albuquerque after finding a love for progressive house and deep trance. In 1999 he was befriended by Christopher Starr, a professional DJ and founder of U-Productions in Los Angeles, California, who saw more than just a 'bedroom spinner' and decided to take Nate under his wing.  From the underground clubs and jam sessions in Albuquerque to the parties and mass events of Los Angeles, California, word of mouth spread. Although things were going well, Nathan needed more; he was beginning to feel limited by his surroundings and felt he was leveling out in his craft. "The DJ is not the music but the muse, a medium which the soul of the music uses to communicate through – I was tired of simply interpreting others music, I wanted to be more than just a conduit and found I was limited to what was pressed;before digital media took hold, if it wasn’t on a plate it wasn’t able to be played  – so why not become the artist and make inspiring sounds for others to interpret – it’s a natural plateau that every DJ should learn to reach at some point.” – Nate B. Looking to take a more hands approach, Nathan had begun producing his own music and not long after starting, was found by other like-minded artists and listeners where he was then befriended by Desert FM which provided a Bi-monthly residency. After retiring from his tours on the west coast, it was through this success that he was found by a sister label of Sony BMG known as Fiberline Audio. Though short lived, Fiberline served as a jumping off point, providing Nathan with access to artists whom he still works with today including V-Sag, Nat Monday, Pit Bull, Gary Dickenson and more.  The Label also provided a wider listening base as well as many number 1 spots reached by Nathan through both singles and EPs. Bostick’s music can be heard through a variety of outlets and many unreleased pieces can be heard on various underground (and not so underground) DJ sets today.Where he will take us next is not yet known, He is listening, learning, and above all else, taking it all in to become one step closer to the music and emotion that is Him. Here is to the Other Like-Minded Artists and their Listeners who will share this new frontier of Musical and Cultural blending with Bostick in the Very near Future.
