QUEAZY got his feet wet in music on the Underground scene in Montgomery, Alabama around 1997 as a member of the duo Marquis. Still in high school QUEAZY & Lil Fatt worked on their debut LP, The Game, Fame & Streets. The single Trophy was released from this project and gained the group quit a buzz in the region. The full length project was never officially released and the group later splintered off into the 9 man team, The Cheddaration. Although a very influential group this effort was short lived and QUEAZY and the group members severed ties in 2004 before the release of The Cheddaration's LP The Product. In 2005 QUEAZY released his first solo effort The EP. This project embodied the powerful lead single Respirator and strong supportive playlist including Switch Lanes, QUEAZY and My Only Mission. This project was worked across the Southeast Region. QUEAZY was featured on the LOD College tour, rocked the 64th Annual Peanut Festival as the first ever Urban artist for the event and was host of the web show The Montgomery Underground, a project produced by local newspaper the Montgomery Advertiser. His latest efforts include the upcoming EP, Its That Feeling due to be released in 2011. This project features production from GreenKnight and Mello Rich. Throughout his career there has always been a constant theme of vivid realistic content with an exceptional respect for detail and lyricism. With this effort the only exception is that the artist wanted more than ever to deliver The Real Experience; his life, passion, art, pain and joys uncensored to his true audience. QUEAZY now co-hosts Tha After Party, an entertainment podcast on tharedcarpet.com, with Jewel and GreenKnight. Focusing on giving back to the underground the artist features other independent artists, small business owners, athletes, models and other up and coming acts in the region. Providing a platform is one of the priorities QUEAZY sees as a must. "The music, art, website, blog, podcast and all efforts are instances of a team of successful individuals working toward a goal. We will benefit from these efforts, not just me!" In the studio working on music and Tha After Party, QUEAZY prepares to bless stages at festivals and events throughout the region.
