Rahjahee (Dominic Rahjahee Waring) is an up and coming singer/ model/ and actor currently working with Amplified Music Group. Being an entertainer has always been this young man’s dream growing up in South Carolina. He finally got his chance as he got older while working with various producers, songwriters, and dancers in the entertainment field. Looking to take his career to the next level, he caught the eye of independent music label Amplified Music Group. He is now working on up-coming movie and music projects. His new single “Postcard” produced by young super producer Mr. FBI and written by songwriter TYO, is a reflection of his crossover appeal in the music world. So everyone get ready to see the evolution of true talent in Rahjahee. He is definitely going to take the entertainment world by storm.....WHERE DOES RAHJAHEE SEE HIMSELF IF IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY? As cliche' as it sounds, I literally want to be a game changer. There are areas of the music industry that are clearly lacking, but I think I could be most effective in the R&B genre. So when you think about what's available right now...1st you have --the songwriters turned singer who are talented performers, but doesn't really have "THAT" sound. Then, you have the overly sexual typical, panty dropper/let-me-serenade-you-out-your-drawers singer. Then you have the talented group of soulful singers who inevitably get grouped into this obscurely defined, and highly underrated "Neo-soul" category. Not to mention (and for good reason), the abundance of Auto-Tune Sensations. That being said, I want to bridge the gap between mainstream R&B and Neo-soul. I want to bring back the quality, soul and sound of 90's R&B, provide high-quality and high-energy performances, and do it all with a touch of modest, but intriguing sex appeal. I believe that doing so will bring balance to the R&B fan base (that is currently polarized between the mainstream and Neo-Soul sounds) by providing quality music with a sound that will inevitably appeal to the entire spectrum of R&B listeners.
