Born, in the late 70’s to a beautiful ball room dancer and a bass guitarist / backup singer for the Isley brothers, music was bound to be in his future. At the age of two, RashadNICE lost his mother to Breast Cancer and was raised by his Grandmother so like most urban teenage boys, a male role model was not a prominate fixture. Although life had shown him a thing or two that would break any strong man, RashadNICE had a thirst for success and knew he was more than his surroundings. Growing up in the late 80’s and early 90’s he listened to everything from N.W.A to S.W.V. which made him more opened minded to dofferent genre's of music, but some of his favorite groups were A Tribe called Quest and De La Soul. They were lyrically dope, which appeased the every day man, but the messages delivered made that everyday man think. And who can forget about those soulful beats. Ending each day the same with Mary Jane and some friends, they would sit in his 1987 Honda Accord and freestyle for hours. As good as he was rapping, he was even better at making beats. He focused on making beats for his younger brother until he went to jail. He was left with his only option, to return to rapping. Being in the streets he was a 2pac junkie but when he moved to Detroit in 1998 he started listening to the conscious/neo soul type music…. Such as Slum Village, Common, The Roots. All this introduces you to the man you see today…..RashadNICE
