About Red Arlington

Arlington, MA

Red Arlington is back and crazier than ever, but this time he has hit the club scene. After a “Long Weekend” of drinks, parties, girls, and bad decisions, he is ready to paint the town Red.

“Wonderful Mess: Subject to Blackouts” picks up where “Long Weekend” left off. Red has graduated college and has stepped up his party-animal attitude to a whole new level. “Knock Nok” is the first track on the EP and is a transition between the house party and the club – essentially, it outlines the pregame prior to the night’s events. Red has sent out an open invitation to friends asking them to come over for some games and after a few drinks a dance party breaks out. It isn’t long before the police start circling his apartment and try to put out the fire before it starts.

Lucky enough to survive another encounter with the law over noise disturbance, Red and friends hit the clubs hard. “CLUBsoda” speaks volumes about how thankful one can be about the arrival of the weekend. There is nothing better to celebrate with than your favorite drink, or your own personal “CLUBsoda”. As the night progresses and the shots start to pour, “TAKE uh SHOT” comes over the speakers and things start to get a little out of control….or go just according to plan, depending on how you look at it.

Eventually the mood reaches an all-time high and Red feels invincible within the walls of the club. The dancing, the bottles, the girls, the atmosphere- “THIS is WHY i LOVE the CLUB” he exclaims…but don’t you dare make the mistake of getting caught in a long conversation or running to the bathroom at the wrong time. If a popular song comes over the speakers, you may lose your friends on the dance floor. At that point, there is little else you can do besides find your own spot out there and “get down like you ‘LoNely’”.

The night feels like a blur and as the clock ticks closer to closing time, Red starts to think about how he wants the night to end. The nights when he isn’t really liking his options on the floor, he knows he can always resort to his “WONDERFUL Mess”- the girl who he can go to when there is no one else. Every girl or guy has a “WONDERFUL Mess” whether they would like to admit it or not. We all know it is wrong, but that doesn’t stop us.

Finally, the sun is coming up and just like that the night is over. There is no other way to describe that “hungOVER” feeling. It is certainly a pain Red feels will never go away- until of course it is time to go out again, meet some new girls and drink some new booze.
